I haven’t resigned from politics – Amin Amidu Sulemani

The Out-going MP for Sissala West, and Upper West Regional Minister, Amin Amidu Sulemani has denied reports that he is quitting politics.

He said reports in the media suggesting his retirement from politics is a calculated attempt to undermine the good work rendered to the people of his constituency, region and the country.

Mr. Sulemani in a statement said, as an astute politician who has served about 34 years in the political activities of this country, if he decides to retire from politics, he will use the appropriate medium to announce it.

He used the opportunity to thank the electorate in Sissala West constituency and congratulated the winning candidate, Patrick Alhassan Adama, on his victory.
