I am not a thief – Akufo Addo

Nana Akufo-Addo has mentioned that he is not a thief and not in politics to amass wealth but to bring prosperity to Ghanaians.

He made the pronouncement on his tour of the Central Region which took him to Upper Denkyira East, Upper Denkyira West and Assin North constituencies on day 2 of his 3-day tour of the region.

He reiterated his 1 district, 1 factory pledge saying it was a sure way to create more jobs for the citizenry adding he was not one to make a pledge without endeavouring to honour it.

“I am not contesting to steal public funds. Offering myself so I use my intellect and vigor to serve and improve the lives of the people,” he submitted.

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate was accompanied by former Finance Minister, Yaw Osafo Marfo who urged the electorate to disregard the propaganda talk of the NDC and president Mahama.

He pointed out that in 2008 Prof. Mills was voted for while current president Mahama was also voted for in 2012 stressing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been in power for 8 years unlike the claims of John Mahama that he requires another 4 years to conclude developmental projects he’s started.

Nana Addo shifts focus to Assin Central and South, Takoradi and Cape Coast North.
