Desperate Konadu Warns Rawlings TURN GUNS ON PREZ MAHAMA “…Enough of The Mills Attack”

The 2016 flag bearer of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has charged her hubby, Jerry John Rawlings, to stop the attacks on late President John Mills and rather focus on President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC administration.

Disappointed by Mr Rawlings’ inability to “boom” at Mahama in manner that will slim the president’s reelection chances, the former first lady is fuming with rage and is reported putting pressure on close associates of her better half to convince him to shelve his virulent attacks of the late tax professor and focus on the Bole-born President John Mahama.

Almost four years after the death of John Mills, the former military-strongman has not desisted from attacking him. He recently described him as “shallow” despite his impeccable academic standing.

As Mr. Rawlings continue with his attacks on the late president for reasons best known to him, Nana Konadu, who also played key role in hounding John Mills to his grave, appeared to have had enough of the attacks on the late president and, is now rallying people to coerce Rawlings to turn attention to John Mahama and his NDC administration.

Last week, a pressure group championing the cause of the former first lady, Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (FONKAR) heeded to their Madam’s appeal when they publicly and passionately pleaded with the former president to cease his vitriolic attacks on the late President John Evans Atta Mills.

Speaking at a press conference in Takoradi, National Coordinator of FONKAR; Joseph Badiako urged Chairman Rawlings to rather turn the heat on President John Dramani Mahama for allegedly worsening the country’s economic conditions, which had resulted in untold hardships, suffering and unbearable high cost of living.

We cannot fathom why President Rawlings keeps chastising and saying all sorts of things against the late Mills even after his death,” FONKAR stated.

“We are also surprised at the seeming quietness of former President Rawlings on the corrupt practices that the people of Ghana are witnessing under this NDC administration,” they added.

According to him the economy of Ghana under the Mills administration was far better than that of the current Mahama-led administration.
“So we don’t understand why Mr Rawlings keeps on bashing the late President Mills. Hasn’t Mr Rawlings seen anything wrong with the Mahama administration?” he asked.

“We are appealing to former President Rawlings to divert all his energies to Mahama and allow late President Mills rest in peace,” he said.
He quizzed “Hasn’t President Rawlings read or heard about the AMERI deal, Smarttys bus branding and other inflated contract figures as well as the profligate spending by the office of the presidency?”
