Aubameyang is African Player of the Year 2015 – Dede Comes third

Borussia Dortmund hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang won his first African Footballer of the Year award at an event held in Abuja, Nigeria, Thursday evening.

He beat four-time winner Yaya Toure, and in-form Ghanaian player Dede Ayew to win the award.

Nigeria again got the chance to host the GLO CAF Awards as Africa’s biggest names in football gathered in Abuja for the 2015 edition.

Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim and Supersport’s Robert Marawa were anchors for a session that was laced with great entertainment provided by some of the continent’s mainstream acts including Ghana’s Shatta Wale.
