AKUFO ADDO’S AIDE WANTED FOR FRAUD

An aide to the 2016 Presidential candidate of the NPP and a self-styled social media commentator, Mr. Justice Abeeku – Offei is being wanted by an owner of an oil company (name withheld ) at Kanda for duping him of several thousands of Ghana Cedis.

According to our source closer to the owner of the oil company, Mr. Newton – Offei took advantage of his personal relationship with the man and hoodwinked the director of the company into releasing some funds to him.

‘After our boss had travelled outside the country, he came to our office to meet our managing director and informed him that our boss has instructed that he should release some funds for him to cater for his wife who needed an emergency surgery at the hospital. The managing director without cross – checking with our boss and believing the words of Mr. Newton – Offei and the nature of his demand immediately released the funds to him’, the source added.

The source further stressed that, ‘ we later called our boss after Mr. Newton – Offei had long gone with the funds to ascertain the authenticity of the request, however, to our surprise he denied any knowledge of that “.

There have been several attempts to reach Mr. Newton – Offei through his phone by the owner and management of the company but all have proved futile. It is believed that he has also relocated from his known abode and hiding somewhere around McCarthy Hills.

The owner of the company (Name withheld ) has since reported the matter to the Nima Police Station for his arrest and prosecution.
