NANA ADDO’S BOY THREATENS NDC’S SAMMY GYAMFI WITH DEATH ON SOCIAL MEDIA

The National Communication Officer of the largest opposition party in Ghana lawyer Sammy Gyamfi was threatened with death on social media by one King Geovanni a member of President Akufo Addo’s social media team.

The news comes as the country remains on heightened alert after the killing of some prominent figures.

The Npp Social Media Communicator attached this post to a picture of Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi on his Facebook wall “Somebody advice this useless boy before he is shot dead u don’t know the nation you find yourself in useless boy”. Ghanaians on social media have vehemently condemned the threat and appealed to the security agencies to commence urgent investigation with a view to identifying the person behind the threat, expose and prosecute the culprit in accordance with the laws.

They urged the Presidency to also order investigation into the matter, as it could result to serious security breach and that it posed real danger to national security. Keep in mind that this occurred immediately after the NDC’s second edition of the MOMENT OF TRUTH series.

The National Communication Officer of the NDC is yet to comment on the matter.
