Isaac Adongo donates to Muslim Community in support of Ramadan

Member of Parliament(MP) for Bolgatanga Central Constituency Isaac Adongo has donated some items to the Muslim community in his constituency to support them observe the month of Ramadan.

The items which were presented to the National Democratic Congress(NDC) Zongo Caucus for onward distribution included 100 bags of sugar, 100 cartons of milk and 100 boxes of Lipton tea.

The Member of Parliament in a brief comment said the gesture was to support muslims in the constituency most especially the under privileged as they go through the fasting period.

“We have our mothers and fathers who are fasting and may not be able to get items like this as needed to support them within this period. This is to support them and to let them know that we have them in mind and fully support them to observe the fast” he said.

This is not the first time the lawmaker is making a donation to the muslim community in support of Ramadan.
