The founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has cautioned against any attempts to overthrow the incoming government of President-elect John Dramani Mahama. Addressing his congregation during a sermon on Sunday, December 15, 2024, the controversial prophet emphasized the divine protection surrounding the incoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.
“It is very dangerous to lead a group to stage a coup d’état. Nobody should attempt to overthrow the incoming Mahama government because, both physically and spiritually, God’s protection is upon that administration due to President-elect Mahama’s humility,” Prophet Owusu-Bempah declared.
He further stressed that any such attempts would be futile, warning that plans to destabilize the government would be exposed.
“Don’t try, because you will never succeed. The moment you plan, we will pick up the phone and alert the relevant authorities. We may be in our homes, but we know and see everything happening in this nation,” he added.
The outspoken cleric underscored the importance of allowing the new government to operate peacefully, urging Ghanaians to support efforts to restore the country, which he described as being in a state of mismanagement.
“The new government must be allowed the freedom to govern and work towards restoring Ghana back onto the path of development. Allow the administration to govern in peace because the country is already in a mess, and the new government is prepared to reset and improve the nation,” he emphasized.
Highlighting the credibility of his past prophecies, Prophet Owusu-Bempah said his church has a track record of accurate predictions, some of which, he claimed, have shaped the nation.
“There have been so many instances where prophecies made in this church have come to pass, and the authorities of this country can attest to it. I won’t elaborate on them now, but let me reiterate—no one should attempt to stage a coup against this incoming NDC government,” he urged.
Prophet Owusu-Bempah concluded his message by calling on the congregation and Ghanaians at large to keep the incoming administration in their prayers, stressing that the nation’s success hinges on a peaceful and stable government.
