President John Dramani Mahama has expressed his gratitude to his father, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I, for leading a delegation to officially congratulate him and his Vice President in Accra.
In a Facebook post, Mr. Mahama revealed that the Yagbonwura and his entourage visited his office following the inauguration ceremony at the Black Star Square. The Yagbonwura was in the capital with other prominent chiefs and representatives from the Gonja Traditional Area to participate in the national event.
During the meeting, Mr. Mahama reiterated his commitment to resetting Ghana’s economy and implementing a transformative development agenda that ensures inclusive growth across all regions. He also emphasized his determination to prioritize infrastructure development in the six newly created regions.
The visit highlights the strong traditional and cultural support for Mr. Mahama as he embarks on this ambitious mission to rebuild and transform the nation.
