Based on the 2024 presidential results announced by the Electoral Commission, about 2 million the New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters who voted in 2020 did not vote in 2024, the Managing Director of the State Transport Corporation (STC), Nana Akomea has said.

Clearly, he said the NPP lost due to apathy.

He observed that the votes obtained by president-elect John Dramani Mahama in 2024 were the same number of votes he got in 2020.
