Video-Nana Addo ‘Attacked’ Me first; He Called Me A Thief – President Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama says he is unperturbed by the numerous accusations leveled against his person and that of his administration by standard-bearer for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

To him, he regards the “incompetent”, “vision-less” and a “thief” tag placed on him by the NPP as “occupational hazards”.

The NPP Presidential candidate has been touring the nation and making bold promises to the people of Ghana in an attempt to win their confidence during the December polls.

He has also been exposing what the party considers to be some of the corruptible practices by the Mahama administration.

In excerpts of a yet-to-be-aired interview with Paul Adom Otchere on Metro TV’s “Good Evening Ghana” show, President John Mahama said the name callings by his political opponents comes with the territory.

“What do you call an attack? I mean for four years he’s described me as incompetent. For four years, he’s described me as visionless. For four years, he’s described me as a thief.

“He says when I come to power; I won’t steal your money. What does that mean? It means I’m stealing Ghanaians’ money. I’m a politician. It’s an occupational hazard…sometimes you have your opponents vilify you…,” President Mahama said.
