PROBES OF DR. OPUNI UNDER CURRENT EOCO LEADERSHIP IS A HOAX-CVM

CVM has a serious doubt on the credibility, neutrality, professionalism and competence of the current leadership of EOCO to properly investigate the rot at CocoBoard under Dr. Opuni leadership. We believe it is politically motivated to whitewash and compromise the evidence of the perceived corruption and financial mismanagement at CocoBoard to shield Dr. Opuni and prevent the embarrassment of John Mahama administration.

If indeed EOCO wanted to protect the public purse and curtail the perceived rot at CocoBoard their probe should have been conducted long time ago when NDC was in Government.

We want the probe of Dr. Opuni to suspend till H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo appoints a more competent Governing Board for EOCO headed by credible Chairperson and Executive Director.

CVM also expect the Government of President Akufo-Addo to further probe the current Governing Board of EOCO which was appointed by the Mills/Mahama administration.
