President Mahama commissions Western Diamond Cement

President John Dramani Mahama says the World Bank has confirmed that the country still remained the first choice destination for investors to do business due to the conducive business environment.

The President said this when he inaugurated the Western Diamond Cement Limited at Bokro in the Ahanta West District of the Western Region.

Commending the company for its immense contribution towards the socio-economic development of the country, President Mahama said the establishment of the company in the region will provide job opportunity for the people in the area.

He said his government will continue to promote conducive environment to attract investors.

The Managing Director of Diamond Cement Group of Companies, Motaparti Prasad said the company has provided direct employment for over one thousand people.

He stated that as part of Diamond Cement social corporate responsibility, it has built schools, bore holes and awarded scholarships to students.
