NPP Imported SA 3 To Detonate Bombs –Koku Anyidoho

A Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, has said the three South African ex-police officers were brought into the country by the NPP to ‘detonate bombs’ to create fear and panic among Ghanaians.

Speaking on Atinka AM Drive with Kaakyire Ofori Ayim Thursday, the controversial politician claimed that his investigations revealed that Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP imported the ‘mercenaries’ to train some individuals how to manufacture bombs and detonate them in public places and heave the blame on the NDC for accommodating the ex-Guantanamo detainees in the country.

He further said Nana Addo and the NPP are desperate for power and therefore want to achieve their aim through foul means but said the NDC was ready to face them.

“We will face Nana Addo and his cronies this year. We will not allow them to do the thing they did in 1998 where they imported dead bodies into the country and littered them on the streets and turn around to accuse the then ruling NDC government. We are now aware of their political antics.” Koku noted.

The Deputy General Secretary further alleged that the NPP has been in the business of denoting bombs since Dr. Kwame Nkrumah era.

“They attempted it on Dr. Kwame Nkrumah but failed. They do that to create fear and panic as well as war-mongering in the country and appeal for votes. But this time around we shall deal with them. If Akufo-Addo misbehaves he will see what we will do to him,” Koku charged.

When challenged by the host that even BNI didn’t tag the three South Africans as ‘mercenaries’, Mr. Anyidoho said, “I am saying they are mercenaries!

“They came into the country under false pretenses and hid in the forest at Agona Gyakwa to train persons how to fire ammunition and detonate bombs.

“Where will they get the bombs to detonate? Nana Addo did the same thing in 1996 when he imported a group called the Fadigans. They were housed in Akufo-Addo’s hotel at Ring Road”.
