“I am not afraid of death” – Kwabena Adjei

Former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr. Kwabena Adjei said he’s not afraid of death and don’t fear anything in life.

The former chairman who is popularly called Nana Okumkra or Togbega Dadi Wula The First and The Last which literally means the unprecedented chief cat killer said “I don’t have any fear…Even death I don’t fear it. I’m ready at anytime. I don’t fear anything.”
Speaking on Accra-based Starr FM, he said “Death must necessary come and he don’t fear death.”

Speaking on the fortunes of the NDC, the former National Chairman has revealed why the party lost to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 7 elections.
He said he was not surprised at the outcome of the 2016 presidential polls.
According to him, the party lost the elections after delegates failed to give him the mandate for another term as national chairman of the party.

Supporters have accused some party officials of amassing wealth and doing very little to help the fortune of the party in the elections.

Kwabena Adjei blamed the delegates for the defeat of the party.
“I wasn’t surprised [the NDC lost]…because when they [delegates] voted me out in Kumasi they voted the party out. It was a done deal [that the NPP will win]. I am not superstitious but I came to the party with my own style…and I had a way of relating to the people.”

He said he is being called Nkonya terminator because he don’t fear anything in life.
He said Mr Mahama surrounded himself with inexperienced handlers.
“His [Mahama] handlers misled him. They were inexperienced. I will say this anywhere without fear or favour. We are all to blame,” he said.

According to him, Mahama appointed young boys to help him run the economy knowing very well that they had no experience in politics.
