Ghana Health Service issues cholera alert

The Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Ebenezer Appiah Denkyira has cautioned Ghanaians on the possible outbreaks of cholera.

He emphasised the need to keep the environment clean in order to prevent the spread of the disease this year.

He said consuming street vended water and food is one of the sources of cholera.

However, the possibility of recurrence is high as the risk factors are still prevailing.
