Election 2016: A Campaign Club Has Been Launched In Ellembele Constituency To Canvass Vote For NDC

A club called itself “Action Ladies for NDC” in the Ellembele constituency of the western region has been launched to campaign for NDC in this year’s general elections. The club was launched in Ellembele town called Anwia on Saturday, 9th July, 2016.

During the launching, the president for the club, Ms Doris Nkrumah disclosed the main motive of club to the people of Ellembele constituency. She said their motive is to canvass more votes for President John Dramani Mahama and the incumbent member of parliament Hon Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah in this year’s general elections.

Ms Doris Nkrumah said the NDC government has done a lot for the Ellembele constituency so they cannot sit unconcerned for the guys alone to do the campaign.

She encouraged all ladies in Ghana not to fear to participate in active politics.

“We are widening the gab for NDC, we are going to move to house to campaign for NDC”

“NDC party is the only political party that come to power that develop Ellembele constituency and Nzemaland as a whole so let us campaign assiduously for NDC to retain President John Dramani Mahama as a president for this country,” Ms Nkrumah stressed.

The constituency women’s organiser for Ellembele constituency, Madam Barikisu Alhassan thanked the Anwia ladies for the establishment of the club.

She told the entire executives for the club to be transparent, trustworthy and tolerant to their members.

Madam Barikisu Alhassan also told them to work hard for the party and continue to preach the gospel truth to the voters especially the virgin voters.

The constituency women’s organiser told them not to discourage by the empty promises the New Patriotic Party presidential candidate Nana Akuffo Addo is going around the country promising Ghanaians.

“So Nana Addo is not seeing the factories President Mahama is building in the country and he Nana Addo is telling Ghanaians that if voted as a president, he will build one factory in one district in Ghana, Nana Addo is only making empty promises, he cannot do it”, the constituency women’s organiser emphasized.

The executives for the club were sworn in by the campaign coordinator for the Ellembele NDC campaign team, Mr Kofi Anaman.

After the oath, Mr Kofi Anaman gave a goodwill message on behalf of the member of parliament for the area Hon Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah to the club that he is ever ready to help them at all times and he also expressed his profound appreciation to the club .

Mr Anaman said the NDC party have developmental agenda for the constituency in the next four years so there is a need for the constituency to vote massively for the NDC party.

He said the constituents should not encourage ” skirt and blouse ” but vote directly for the NDC party.

After the launch, GhanaPoliticsonline.com gathered information that the establishment of Action Ladies for NDC has put fears to the opposition NPP at Anwia and the constituency as a whole.

The program was climax by music and brass band and a local based hip life artist “4Mula De” performed for President Mahama and Hon Armah Kofi-Buah.
