Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom meets with EC Chairperson

Information reaching GhanaPoliticsonline.com is that The disqualified flag-bearer of the Progressive People’s Party Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom today had the opportunity to meet the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Mrs Charlotte Osei.

According to our source, Dr Nduom who has been asking Mrs. Osei to spare him five minutes of her time in order to “solve this matter simply and administratively” by Thursday or resort to the court, was lucky to have gotten to the EC headquarters when Mrs Charlotte Osei was having another meeting and demanded to have a discussion with her.

Public Relations Officer of the EC Eric Dzakpasu who confirmed the news in an interview said he could not tell what they discussed in the meeting.

The EC on Monday announced the disqualification of Dr Nduom because he had failed to provide the required number of endorsements to see his nomination through.

Again, the EC said, one Richard Aseda who endorsed Dr Nduom did double endorsement, first in the Central Region and then in the Volta Region.
