CPP completes vetting of presidential aspirants

The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has completed the vetting of all four presidential aspirants of the party.

The vetted aspirants include the former Chairperson, Samia Nkrumah, former General Secretary; Ivor Greenstreet, third time flagbearer aspirant; Bright Akewetey and Joseph Agyepong.

After the vetting process, the party’s Chairman Professor Edmund Delle told Citi News, he was satisfied with the process and believes a credible candidate will emerge to lead the party.

He also assured all the relevant checks had been made during the four day vetting
process last week.

“We checked on their identities to be sure they are Ghanaians… we are sure that these people are party members and they have been in the party for not less than four years,” Prof Delle said.
