Chocolate City Unsigned reality music show débuts

Chocolate City, one of Africa’s biggest indegenous record labels is spearheading  a new Music  reality show, Chocolate City Unsigned which is a genuine home-grown reality show created to discover local talents and nurture them into international music stars.

chocThe reality show billed to take off in May 2016, is organised by Chocolate City in partnership with EbonyLife TV, Africa’s first Global Black Entertainment and Lifestyle network.

According to Chief Executive Officer, CEO Chocolate City, Mr Jude Abaga a.k.a MI, the reality show is about creating stars. “I’m a living proof of this exciting reality and I and the team are now ready to take others on this amazing journey to stardom.”

He stressed that the partnership between the two organisations was necessary because “We both create stars because we understand the local nuances of making stars. We find raw talent from nowhere and take them right to the top.

Also, Executive Chairman and CEO of EbonyLife TV, Mo Abudu, said the “Chocolate City Unsigned is unique in that it is homegrown and is dealing with organisations that understand the nuances and complications in the music scene. It is not just about pushing artistes  internationally but also supporting music and promoting labels. We are committed to providing value for Nigeria and talents”

Registration for the competition opens to interested participants across Africa on March 21 while the actual competition commences in Lagos in May, 2016. The show will be televised on EbonyLife TV and other select TV channels.
