Cabinet has approved the creation of an Oil Palm Development Board.
The Board among other things will regulate activities in the sector, and provide the legal framework to ensure that the onetime large foreign exchange earner is revived.
This was announced by Deputy Minister of Agriculture in charge of Crops, Dr Alhassan Yakubu at the 2nd Africa sustainable Palm Oil Conference in Accra.
