“You Are Not More NPP Than Me”; Stop ‘Sakawa’ Journalism And Help Ghana Develop – A-Plus To Kwame Sefa Kayi

Controversial Musician cum Politician, Kwame Asare Obeng known as A-Plus has lashed out at Peace FM Kokroko morning show host, Kwame Sefa Kayi and some leading journalists in the country including Kwasi Pratt jnr and Kwaku Barko, describing them as sakawa journalists.

He said these elderly journalist sit on Radio/TV with hypocritical spectacles misleading the people in the wrong direction because they think that whatever they say is final and the gospel truth.

They only think about themselves and careless about Ghana, because all of you from Kwasi Pratt, Kwaku Barko Sefa Kai, all these kind of journalists are sakawa journalists.

According A Plus, at the time the issue of Kolebu Teaching Hospital came up, Kwame Sefa Kayi met him at Roman Ridge and told him that what he(A Plus) was doing was wrong, because his actions were “calling the government out”.

So when people are dying at Kole-bu you don’t care, you told me that, i was calling the government out and if it were to be somewhere ‘kuraa’, i won’t be walking here by now… A plus alleged.

You are NPP and i am NPP but me, when something is wrong i will say it. You don’t care about Ghana, one day when something happens in this country you won’t be happy.. he added.

You Kwame Sega Kayi, you invited Abu Jinapor on your show to interview him just to do damage control, the day you were interview him i sent you a message and said, Sefa what you are doing is not right, you have to listen to the issue. But your interest was not in the dying Ghanaians, your interest was saving your government in power.

A Plus was commenting through a Live facebook chat on the ban placed on Shatta Wale and Stone Bwoy by Charter House board for last Saturday disturbances at the VGMA awards night in Accra.

He said the organisers must be banned and arrested because they are to blame for all the happens at the venue and that, it was unnecessary banning the two artists for what happened.

Mr Obeng said the commentary and pronouncements been made by Kwame Sefa Kayi who was MC for the night were rather unfortunate and lack coherence.

Kwame Sefa Kayi carries himself as if he has the final say to everything and whatever he says is gospel, people must stop pretending as if they are righteous and holy enough, we know people in this country, we all used to smoke in the hood, though I just stop four years ago.
