The President, John Dramani Mahama, will be in the Ashanti Region tomorrow as part of his “Accounting to the People Tour”.
However, sources in the region, have revealed that, a secret meeting have been held by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to meet President Mahama, with a series of shameful illegal demonstrations for no apparent reason.
The rowdy, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, alias Chairman Wontumi, NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, has been mentioned to be the brain behind the illegal demonstrations.

The “Accounting to the People Tour” has been very successful so far, with no nasty incident recorded.

As part of the “Accounting to the People Tour” in the capital, Accra, Mr. Mahama, last week, held a presidential forum for small- and medium-scale enterprises and also inspected ongoing major projects, including the Nima drain and the Ridge Hospital.
He also inaugurated a bus rapid transport terminal at Ofankor, visited Teshie, and its environs.
President Mahama, also presented Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) cheques to some market women.
