We’ll continue to live Mills’ door-to-door campaign – #iChooseJM

A pro-National Democratic Congress group – #iChooseJM – has promised to carry on with the dreams of the late President John Mills by supporting John Mahama to win the 2016 elections.

In a statement to mark the fourth anniversary of Mills’ death, the group said it has resolved to “continue your door-to-door campaign strategy and broadcast the need for Ghanaians to keep your son in office as the President of this country.”

Below are details of the statement:

Exactly four years ago, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, you passed on the mantle of leadership to your favorite servant and trustee, John Dramani Mahama.

It was a shocking moment that we will never forget, as young men and women of Ghana who understudied you and loved you to bits.

In safeguarding your legacy as a humble servant leader, your trusted son is continuing in that path of humility and love for God and country.

We have therefore resolved to continue your door-to-door campaign strategy and broadcast the need for Ghanaians to keep your son in office as the President of this country.

We promise to keep you in our hearts and do your wishes, always.
