Wa ready to host National May Day Parade -TUC

The Upper West Regional Secretary of the TUC, George Kofi Mudey, says preparations are underway at the Jubilee Park in Wa for this year`s May Day Celebration regardless of the short notice.

He said preparations are 99% complete for the historic celebration tomorrow. Mr Mudey urged workers to be agents of peace in the November polls.

The Upper West Regional Minister Alhaji Amidu Sulemana also said the region is excited to host this year`s May Day since it will boost economic activities in the area.
