Vice President Amissah Arthur Congratulates Ghanaian Teenage Swimmer For 2016 Olympic Games

Ghana’s Vice President, Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, has commended Ghana’s teenage swimmer, Kaya Forson, who was at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games to represent Ghana.

Miss Forson ended up in a group of three – beating her personal record in her outing for team Ghana at the Olympic Games.

On the Vice President’s official Facebook wall,he wrote that he’s very proud of the Ghanaian teenage swimmer for representing Ghana well.

Kaya recorded a time of 2:16.02 in the Women’s 200m freestyle swimming on Monday, August 8, 2016 when she went against Matelita Buadromo from Fiji and Shivani Shivani from India.

Kaya Forson breaks her personal best record at the Olympics.

Bouadromo was first in the Heat 1 contest recording a time of 2:05.49 with Shivani placing second with a time record of 2:09.30.
However, none of the three swimmers will be qualifying for the next stage as they were the swimmers with the lowest time record.
Kaya Forson is one of the 16 athletes representing Ghana at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in Brazil.
