Veep Amissah Arthur Reiterates President Mahama’s Commitment To Job Creation And Infrastructural Development

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has assured Ghanaians that a second term of President Mahama’s administration will not only be used for job creation but also for further infrastructural development.

He said the government will continue to ensure that communities will have their fair share of infrastructural development.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur said this when he paid a courtesy call on the chiefs and elders of Akroso in the Eastern Region on the second day of his campaign tour of the region.

He said the development of Akroso will be a focus of government.

The Eastern Regional Minister, Mavis Ama Frimpong, appealed to the chiefs to support President John Dramani Mahama to get a second term to continue with good policies and programmes to ensure the development of the country.

The Akrosohene Nana Kwabena Ofori, prayed for God’s guidance and protection for the President.

He said President Mahama has done a lot for the people of Akroso and as he goes for a second term, God will surely grant his wish.

He mentioned schools and other facilities the community has benefited from the government.

Nana Kwabena Ofori appealed to the government to rehabilitate the only market in the town.

Also, the town roads must be tarred to give the Akroso Township a facelift.
