My UN appointment speaks volumes about Ghana’s leadership – Mahama

Former President John Dramani Mahama has said Ghana’s leadership speaks volumes about its achievements to the world.

This he said shows how proud the world is of Ghana and Ghanaians which makes him extremely proud of every Ghanaian.

In a Facebook post last Thursday after his appointment by the United Nations to co-chair a session on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with the Prime Minister Erna Solberg of Norway, Mr Mahama spoke of how “humbled” he is by the appointment.

“My appointment as Co-Chair of this select UN group also means that Ghana will be able to attract more foreign investments, which in turn will help boost the economy thus, significantly more jobs will become available for Ghanaians,” he added.

“My appointment as Co-Chair of this select UN group also means that Ghana will be able to attract more foreign investments, which in turn will help boost the economy thus, significantly more jobs will become available for Ghanaians.

“This is the future we all fought for, and I am honoured to be your leader in this fight! “God bless you all! God bless our Mother Ghana!”
