The Minister of Transport, Fifi Kwetey says the Transport and the Trade and Industry ministries as well as other stakeholders have resolved to make the Ports the preferred point for all business in the maritime industry in the sub-region.
This according to him will create the enabling environment for the Port to be competitive in doing business in cargo handling.
The Transport Minister said this when he and the Trades and Industry Minister, Ekow Spio Garbrah paid a working visit to the Tema Port Transit Terminal.
The visit was primarily to address some agitations raised by the transit drivers in procuring tracking devices for their trucks.
