The three former South African Security Officers who were arrested by the BNI are to be put before court Wednesday.
According to Radio Ghana sources, the three who the NPP has admitted inviting to train its men will be in court.
The BNI has accused them of engaging in acts that threaten national security.
Meanwhile, an International Relations and Security Expert Irbard Ibrahim says the arrest of the three South African security officers is a worrying development.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Ibrahim said it is not only surprising but absurd that some Ghanaians would want to invite foreign security consultants to train individuals to protect political party leaders.
For him, the worrying development will affect the country’s business environment.
In a related development, the General Secretary of the United Cadres Front, Felix Nyarku says the engagement of the three retired South African policeman to train some supporters of the NPP in the run up to the 2016 election is abominable.
Speaking to Radio Ghana on the development, Mr Nyarko said the NPP has contravened the constitution and the police should deal ruthlessly with anyone found culpable.
