I support Rawlings’ position on corruption -Kofi Adams

The National Organizer and Campaign Coordinator of the ruling NDC,Kofi Adams, has stated that he supports the Founder of the party, Jerry John Rawlings position on corruption.

According to him, in every house, there is an elderly one who advises ensuring sanity and harmony, so if NDC has someone in the person of Mr. Rawlings, pointing to it that somethings are going wrong, it should be welcomed and not scorned.

The National Organizer also clarified a story circulating with the banner headline — Corruption Started Under Mills, stating that, it’s an old story that has been republished by some social media quarters.

Going deeper into the story, he said Mr. Rawlings spoke about corruption when the NDC left office and not when the NDC party was in power.

“His statement refers to corruption when NDC was out of office. He did not say corruption started when NDC was in office. In the interview, he kept making reference to when NDC left office and NPP took over” he said, in àn interview monitored by Ghanapoliticsonline.com.

Kofi Adams ended by saying Mr. Rawlings’s position on corruption is relevant today and will always be relevant and that they in NDC, will continue to pick the good advice in it — despite the interpretations some give to it.
