Former President, John Dramani Mahama has mocked President Akufo-Addo for describing himself as a ‘dog who cannot be hanged’ on the altar of corruption.
In a tweet on Thursday, the former advised the sitting President not use idioms in relation to himself as according to him, it will stick with time.
President Akufo-Addo in a bid to reiterate his stance against corruption on said he cannot be given a bad name and he hanged.
“I’m aware that you give a dog a bad name in order to hang it but this dog [reference to himself] will not be hanged,” Akufo-Addo told his detractors who have been accusing him of corruption.
This description, President Mahama said was never the best as according to him, Ghanaians will easily jump unto it and make it stick.
