Some of the key indicators that will forever keep JM/ndc relevant till thy kingdom come if history would be fair are:

The extension of IMF deadline by Nana Akufo Addo’s government after telling the world at the presidency during one of his press encounters that his government had no intention to extend the duration of that facility.

2). The extension of the 450MW Turkish Kar Power agreement from the initial 10 years by President Mahama’s govt for another 10 years thus making the duration of the agreement now 20 years. Something they bastardized and criminalized while in opposition.

3). President Akufo Addo’s unquenchable appetite for borrowing (loans) which has brought the debt stock from ghc122bn in December 2016 to over ghc157bn in March 2018. This means President Akufo Addo’s government has already borrowed over ghc35bn in 15 Months without nothing to show for it. In opposition both Dr Bawumia and his boss claimed that, the ndc government didn’t need to borrow, that Ghana had all the resources it needed but for mismanagement. Today the so-called better managers of the economy have set new borrowing records in a period of less one and half years.

4). In 2017 alone, President Akufo Addo’s government sole sourced 223 contracts or 56.6% of contracts requests after criminalizing ndc for sole sourcing certain contracts. The president strangely announced this to Ghanaians with vim and bravado. Something policy think IMANI Ghana described as baseless comparison.

5). JM infrastructure drive or initiative across the country were described as photoshops or ghost projects (with alleged inflated costs) by President Akufo Addo and his npp party. Nana Addo is on record to have said that the newly built Ridge Hospital, Kasoa interchange, circle interchange were allegedly inflated (in costs), he was subsequently advised by professionals in the field within his own party to abandon those wild claims as those claims made then candidate Akufo Addo appear ignorant before Ghanaians. After the assumption of power by President Akufo Addo, many of the very projects they described as photoshops or artistic impressions in oppositions have been recommissioned and previous plaques replaced with new ones reflecting the credentials of the current government. Example is Ridge Hospital etc,

Do I need to add more reasons why HE JM/ndc will forever be relevant in Ghana and beyond till thy kingdom come?
