The entertainment industry and its fans are waiting for the launch of the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards organized annually by event organizers par excellence, Charter house.
One category which promises to be very competitive this year is Highlife Song and Artist of the Year. David Wincott, manager of legendary Highlife musician Obiba Sly Collins, who is full of hopes and expectations for his artist, has opined that Obiba Sly Collin’s song deserves Highlife Song of the Year.
Mr. Wincott believes though musician Bisa K. Dei and others have done well under the year of review, his artiste, Sly Collin’s ‘Voice of Reason’ album, stood tall as far as quality music is concerned.
“We filed our nomination and looking at the effort we put in our music and quality of album we produced under the year of review, plus the high sales we made, we expect nothing than more nominations” the ever-hopeful Wincott opined.
