I shall Protect the Public Purse- President Nana Akufo-Addo

President Nana Akufo-Addo has pledged to ensure that corruption does not exist in the public sector by putting stringent measures in place to protect the public purse.

Speaking at the Inaugural Ceremony in Accra he said, money should be made in the private sector and not in the public sector.

A government he said should be able to create wealth that would benefit the country at large rather than engaging in all forms of corruption to the detriment of citizens.

He added that, the country must also embrace science and technology which would also help foster development and economic growth.

“We will reduce taxes and ensure that the private sector flourishes and Ghanaians are able to survive in terms of business,”he stressed.

According to him, there is no better opportunity to make it in Ghana as opportunities would be provided for all.
