School fees palaver: 10,000 women chase husbands at DOVVSU

Over 10,000 women in the Central Region have filed various complaints against their husbands at the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Units in the region for failing to pay their children’s school fees.

Police sources in the region say the complaints were made moments after the New Year festivities to compel the men to honour their responsibilities in the home.

Our sources say almost all the men reported are no more in relationship with the women.

While some of them had to do with boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, others had to do with married couple who for unknown reasons have separated.

About 50% of the men, Kasapafmonline.com learnt, have so far reported to the DOVVSU to tell their side of the story.
