Sacked Lands Commission CEO reinstated by Nana Addo

A letter signed by Nana Asante Bediatuo, Secretary to President Akufo-Addo and dated January 26, said an earlier later terminating his appointment and asking him to hand over, has consequently been withdrawn.

“You are directed to continue to act in your position and perform your duties in the ordinary course as per the terms of your engagement”, the letter stated.

The said letter which was copied to the Vice President and Chief of Staff had asked him to hand over and leave office not later than 5pm on 26 January 2017, because he ceased to be the CEO of the Lands Commission “upon the assumption of office of the president of the republic.”
