Rastafari Council of Ghana dissociates itself from all partisan political endorsements

Press Statement on Endorsement of Political Parties

The Rastafari Council, Ghana would like to state categorically that the Council has not endorsed any political party for the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections on Monday, December 7, 2020.

The Council has noticed that various Rastafari organisations are expressing their legitimate support for various political parties ahead of the elections.

However, the Rastafari Council, Ghana as an organisation, has not endorsed any political party or candidate for the elections.

Indeed, it is a civic duty for citizens to express their opinions and participate in electing their leaders and representatives.

The Council is also calling on all and sundry to ensure that the forthcoming elections are conducted in a peaceful, free and fair manner for the true voice of the people to be heard.
