Prominent Chief dies in Ashanti region

A prominent chief in Kumasi in the Ashanti region has died, StarrFMonline.com has learnt.

A source close to the deceased chief’s family told StarrFMonline.com the chief who reigns over the biggest political constituency in the Ashanti region died at the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital in Accra Tuesday morning.

The development is reportedly causing panic among residents of the area who are reportedly picking snippets of information of his demise.

The late chief is said to have been unwell for some time now.

Although StarrFMonline.com is in the know of the said traditional leader, we are unable to disclose his identity out of respect for the Ghanaian tradition and culture.
