Supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress at Somanya in the Eastern Region yesterday turned a sod cutting ceremony for the construction of the maiden public university in the Eastern region to a “mourning ceremony” when president Mahama started exchanging pleasantries with party supporters as he exits office for the New Patriotic Party government come January 7 2017.
According to President Mahama on social media, he told NDC supporters, they should not cry because all is well. “Really moved. Dawned on me how much some love and appreciate me. No need to weep, it is well.”
