President Mahama to launch NDC braille version of manifesto today

President John Dramani Mahama will today, Monday, October, 10 outdoor a Braille Version of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2016 Manifesto.

The Braille Version will make the NDC Manifesto accessible to the visually impaired and reflects the commitment of the NDC and President Mahama to expand interventions and introduce additional social protection initiatives to benefit the vulnerable.

At the same ceremony, President Mahama will interact with Persons with Disability and hand over to their National Federation, the promised demonstration models of the motorised transport for physically challenged persons.

Under the ‘Consolidating Social Protection’ section of the NDC 2016 Manifesto, President Mahama made a commitment to improve the mobility of the physically challenged and introduce them to economic activities using motorised tricycles.

The launch will take place at the forecourt of the State House in Accra at 2pm.

These were contained in a statement issued in Accra and signed by the John Mahama 2016 Campaign spokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari.
