President Mahama says employment opportunities are abundant in Oil and Gas, ICT sectors

President Mahama has been addressing a number of issues from the Residency in Kumasi.

His speech was broadcast on GBC’s Garden City Radio.

Answering a question, whether the President is not worried about unemployment among graduate nurses, President Mahama said that is why there is the need to build more CHIP Compounds, hospitals and Clinics and this the President said, has been a vision of the NDC.

To address the problem of unemployment, President Mahama reiterated the need for practical, professional and Technical courses as opposed to the humanities, so as to make the youth more employable after school.

President Mahama noted that opportunities abound in the Oil and Gas Industry as well as ICT, hence the need for Ghanaian youth to take advantage.
