President John Dramani Mahama has kicked started his 2016 campaign for re-election from the Western Region.
He made whistle stops at Agona Nkwanta and Abura.
Addressing the people, the President who is also the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), said he used his first term to lay the foundation for socio-economic development.
President Mahama justified the massive investment in infrastructure. The President said the Government achievements in the area of infrastructure are unprecedented.
He was optimistic that the 2016 elections will be credible and violent free.
