President Mahama Begins Campaign Tour In The Northern Region

President John Mahama will today, Monday, August 22, take his campaign for the 2016 elections to his home region, the Northern Region for a four-day campaign.

The Northern Region campaign, which is expected to draw huge crowds and focus on an interaction between the President and the people, will start from Salaga where President Mahama will pay a courtesy call on the newly enskinned Kpembewura.

The NDC Candidate for 2016 will visit many other chiefs in the region and interact with market women, farmers, and engage other members of the public along his scheduled campaign route.

Areas to be visited on this round of campaigning in the Northern Region include Salaga, Kpandai, Bimbilla, Wulensi, Yendi, Gushiegu, Zabzugu, Tatale, Mion, Nanton and Chereponi.

This will be the second region President Mahama will be campaigning in after the launch of the John Mahama 2016 Campaign on August 14, 2016.
