President Mahama Appeals To CLOSSAG To Call Off Strike As gov’t Works On Their Grievances

President John Dramani Mahama has appealed to CLOGSAG members to call off their three week strike as government works on their grievances.

The President said this at the opening of the 10th Quadrennial Delegates Congress of the Trades Union Congress, TUC, in Kumasi. It is being attended by Trade unionists from a number of African countries.

Touching on the IMF Program, President John Mahama, said the three-year IMF program has undoubtedly injected fiscal discipline into expenditure in this election year. He said though the program will end next year, government will stick strictly to the budget.
