President Akufo-Addo cannot sack me; my comments are party position – Ayisi Boateng

Ghana’s under fire High Commissioner to South Africa, Mr. Ayisi Boateng who has come under heavy public attack following his devisive comments at a recent TESCON meeting is still talking tough.

Mr. Ayisi Boateng who told TESCON members in the Kumasi Technical University that members of the governing NPP are more Ghanaian than others and that he will always give them preferential treatment in South Africa has refused to show remorse. Worst of all, he has even stated that the President cannot sack him.

Speaking to members of the UCOMS( Kumasi Campus) TESCON, Mr. Ayisi Boateng told the students not be moved by the ugly noise from Ghanaians and that he was just echoing a party (NPP) Policy. “I can tell you that President Akufo-Addo cannot sack me. My utterances are the official policy position of the NPP government,” he said to applause from the students.

Also present at the function were Dr. Kingsley Nyarko who is the Executive Director of NPP Think Tank, Danquah Institute and some party executives.
