President John Mahama has arrived in the Upper West regional capital Wa, ahead of a two day accounting to the people tour of the region.
He began with an inspection of ongoing works on a hundred and eighty bed capacity regional hospital.
The project is expected to be completed in October.
President Mahama said he is optimistic that the project will meet the October deadline as promised by the contractor.
Meanwhile, President Mahama and his entourage have called on the Wa Naa and Chiefs at the Wa Naa’s palace.
He briefed the Chiefs on his activities in the region.
