Parliament gets police station

The Acting President, Edward Doe Adjaho says recent terrorists attacks in the West African Sub-region signal the urgent need for Ghana to secure its strategic national assets.

He emphasized the importance of securing the territorial borders of the country while ensuring that essential State properties are protected.

Mr. Adjaho stated this when he inaugurated a new District Police Station at Parliament.

He thanked President Mahama for showing keen interest in the security of Parliament by granting the request from the House to convert the building at the Western gate of the State House into a Police Station.
