NPP to hold extraordinary delegates conference in 17 constituencies September 10

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced its planned extraordinary constituency delegates conferences in 17 constituencies slated for September 10.
The purpose is to select the party’s parliamentary candidates for the upcoming general elections in these areas.

According to a press release from the NP headquarters, the decision was made during a National Council meeting on August 30.
The constituencies are: Suaman, Anlo, North Dayi, Nadowli/Kaleo, Sagnarigu, Kumbungu, Builsa North, Pusiga, Ada, Bolgatanga East, Tema East, La Dadekotopon, Buem, Biakoye, Amenfi West, New Edubiase and Upper Manya Krobo.
The vetting of aspirants, per the statement released on Wednesday, September 6, will take place on September 8 at all regional party offices.
“All Regional Executive Committees are hereby directed to take the necessary measures to ensure the successful vetting of aspirants and the conduct of the Delegates Conference in the aforementioned constituencies,” the statement read in part.
