NPP sets up committee for constitutional amendment

The NPP has set up an 11 member adhoc committee to consider proposals for the amendment of the Party’s constitution.

The Party during its recently held national delegate’s conference in Cape Coast received a lot of proposals, key among them being expansion of the Party’s Electoral College to include more delegates who will elect the Party’s national executives.

The Acting General Secretary of the Party, John Boadu at a news conference to inaugurate the committee, said the FF Antoh led committee has two months to submit its report which will be reviewed and later adopted at the Party’s extraordinary delegate’s conference to be held in December.
